A direct OEM-style replacement propane connection hose built to the same standards as factory-installed lines. The 06-0139 connects a QCC1 (Type 1) propane tank fitting to a 1/4" male inverted flare appliance or regulator port, covering the 48-inch span needed in most RV compartment layouts. UL and CSA listed, so it satisfies inspection requirements at campgrounds and service shops alike.
Propane pigtail hoses are the short flexible connectors that bridge your tank valve or regulator to the hard copper or steel supply line in the RV. Over time, rubber hoses crack, fittings corrode, or a previous owner's repair leaves you with the wrong length. The JR Products 06-0139 restores a factory-quality connection with the correct end fittings and an appropriate 48-inch reach.
One end terminates in a QCC1 (Quick-Closing Coupling Type 1) fitting -- the standard left-hand-thread connection used on virtually all modern 20 lb and 30 lb DOT cylinders used in RV service. The other end is a 1/4" male inverted flare, which mates directly to regulators, manifolds, and appliance inlets that accept that standard. No adapters required in most OEM replacement situations.
Standard Type 1 Quick-Closing Coupling fits all modern 20 lb and 30 lb DOT propane cylinders. No POL adapter needed.
Appliance/regulator end uses the common 1/4" male inverted flare fitting, compatible with most RV regulators and manifold inlets.
Forty-eight inches of flexible rubber hose provides enough reach for most under-compartment and tank-to-regulator routing without excess slack.
Dual safety listing satisfies inspection requirements at most RV parks, service facilities, and state inspection programs.
This pigtail is designed as an OEM-style replacement for RVs originally equipped with a QCC1 tank valve and a 1/4" inverted flare regulator or distribution block. Common applications include:
Hand-tighten the QCC1 fitting onto the tank valve first, then use a wrench to snug the 1/4" inverted flare connection at the regulator. QCC1 fittings do not use thread sealant -- the internal check valve and seat provide the seal. The inverted flare end should be assembled dry as well; do not use PTFE tape or pipe dope on inverted flare connections, as sealant can compromise the metal-to-metal seat.
