Two full-season inline water filters that screw directly onto any standard garden or RV water hose. The TastePURE combines a granular activated carbon block with KDF-55 media to tackle the full spectrum of common campground water problems -- chlorine, sulfur odor, heavy metals, bacteria, mold, and sediment -- before water ever reaches your rig's tank or your glass.
Campground water hookups range from great to genuinely unpleasant. Municipal supplies can carry strong chlorine taste; well-fed campgrounds may have hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell), iron staining, or sediment. The TastePURE handles all of it with a dual-stage approach: an outer 100-micron fiber prefilter catches physical particles first, then water passes through the KDF/carbon core where the chemical and biological reduction happens.
The wider-body housing is designed for improved flow -- 2.5 gallons per minute -- so you won't notice a significant pressure drop at the faucet or showerhead. Each filter is rated for approximately 500 gallons, which Camco equates to a full 3-to-4 month camping season under normal use. This 2-pack gives you back-to-back season coverage or one filter for each campsite hookup you run simultaneously.
KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) media is embedded in the carbon to prevent bacteria and fungus from colonizing the filter bed -- a critical advantage over plain carbon-only inline filters.
Larger-diameter housing increases contact time and flow area simultaneously, delivering 2.5 GPM without meaningful pressure loss through the filter.
5/8-inch lead-free brass inlet and outlet threads are compatible with standard US garden hose fittings and most RV fresh-water hose connections.
Outer fiber layer captures rust, sand, scale, and particulate before water contacts the KDF/carbon core, extending effective filter life.
This filter is rated to reduce or protect against the following contaminants:
Installation requires no tools. Thread the filter's inlet end onto your water source hose (city water hookup or your own garden hose), then connect your RV's fresh-water inlet hose or drinking-water hose to the filter's outlet. The filter should be positioned before the water enters your RV's fresh-water tank or inline before a specific faucet.
Both filters in this pack are manufactured in the United States and carry Camco's limited 90-day manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
