The Safe-T-Alert 62-541-BL is a 12V hard-wired, surface-mount carbon monoxide (CO) alarm designed specifically for RVs, trailers, and motorhomes. It’s the current-generation replacement for the popular 65-541 series, with low current draw, Test/Silence button, and end-of-life notification so you know when to replace it. Made in the USA.

Installation notes

1. Disconnect 12V power. Remove the old alarm (note polarity).
2. Mount the 62-541-BL at breathing height per MTI guidance—not in dead-air corners, near ceiling fans, or right next to appliances.
3. Connect +12V and Ground; restore power and press TEST to verify horn/LEDs.
4. Label your replacement date; replace the unit at EOL alert or per the printed date.
