Steele Rubber Products Outer RV Window Weatherstrip — 7/16" H x 5/8" W x 15 Ft

Press-in outer window weatherstripping for RV windows. Purpose-engineered EPDM dense rubber. Will not fade, shrink, or crack. Fits Alpha See Ya Class A motorhome windows and other RV applications. Hand crafted and made in USA.

Why Choose the Steele Rubber 90-3435-255?

The Steele Rubber Products 90-3435-255 is a purpose-engineered outer RV window weatherstrip designed to protect your motorhome windows from extreme weather, moisture intrusion, and insects. This press-in style weatherstrip seats firmly into the track that runs around the exterior perimeter of many RV windows, creating a tight, secure seal without the need for adhesives or special tools.

Manufactured from a proprietary EPDM dense rubber compound, this weatherstrip is purpose-built to outlast and outperform the original OEM vinyl or rubber that came with your RV. Original vinyl window weatherstripping is notorious for shrinking, cracking, and pulling away from the track over time, leaving gaps that allow rain, road dust, and insects into the RV interior. The Steele Rubber replacement is engineered to resist these failure modes, maintaining a clean, fitted appearance and reliable seal for years of road use. Also sold under part number 70-3824-255, this strip is available in 15 ft lengths, 30 ft lengths, and by the foot.

🔌 Press-In Track Installation

Seats directly into the exterior window track with no adhesives required — just press firmly into place around the window perimeter

✅ Won't Fade, Shrink, or Crack

Proprietary EPDM dense rubber compound resists the shrinking and cracking that causes original vinyl weatherstripping to fail

🌴 Extreme Weather Protection

Seals out moisture, road dust, and insects from around RV windows; engineered to perform in heat, cold, and UV exposure

🇺🇸 Made in USA

Hand crafted from proprietary rubber compounds with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee from Steele Rubber Products

🔧 Known RV Fitment

This outer window weatherstrip is commonly found on the following RV brands and models:

Alpha (Alfa) See Ya — Class A motorhome; outer window perimeter weatherstrip
Fleetwood — Class A motorhome models with press-in outer window track

This weatherstrip fits any RV window that uses a press-in outer track design with a 7/16" x 5/8" profile. It is often used in conjunction with the companion Window Edge Weatherstrip for a complete window seal restoration.

Compatibility is not guaranteed. Always verify the track dimensions and profile match your specific application before ordering. Actual fit may vary based on individual model year and manufacturing variations. Steele Rubber Products offers this profile by the foot and in sample packs to help confirm fit before purchasing a full-length strip.

⚠️ Measure Before You Order — Confirm Track Dimensions

Outer window weatherstrips must match the track profile precisely to seat and seal correctly. Before ordering, verify the following:

Track Opening Width: The channel the weatherstrip presses into should accommodate a 5/8" wide base
Exposed Height: The finished seal protrudes approximately 7/16" above the track surface when installed
Total Perimeter Length: Measure the full perimeter of each window to be resealed and add 10–15% for cutting allowance

If you are unsure of fit, Steele Rubber Products offers this profile by the foot so you can order a short section to test before committing to a full-length purchase.

🔗 Complete Window Seal Restoration

For a full window seal restoration, this outer window weatherstrip is designed to be used together with the Steele Rubber Products Window Edge Weatherstrip.

Outer Window Weatherstrip (This Part): Presses into the exterior track surrounding the window frame — seals the outer perimeter against weather, moisture, and insects

Window Edge Weatherstrip (Companion Part): Wedges between the glass panel and the retaining metal frame — cushions the glass, eliminates noise and vibration, and seals against water infiltration behind the glass

Replacing both components together ensures a complete, leak-free window restoration.

Original vinyl window weatherstripping on older Class A motorhomes is well-known for shrinking away from track corners and cracking over time, leaving visible gaps that allow rain and insects into the RV. The Steele Rubber EPDM replacement is manufactured specifically to address these failure modes and provide a long-lasting, maintenance-free window seal.
