Apply between 60°F and 104°F (15°C–40°C) for best adhesive bond strength. The temperature difference between the seal and the bonding surface should be as small as possible — avoid applying in direct sunlight on a very hot surface or in cold ambient conditions. Surface Preparation: Completely remove all old seal material, adhesive residue, dirt, wax, and moisture before applying. Wipe the bonding surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and allow to fully dry. A completely clean, dry surface is the single most important factor in long-term bond performance. Allow 72 hours for the adhesive to fully cure after application.
