The bonding surface must be completely clean and dry before applying the seal. • Remove all old adhesive, sealant, and residue using a general-purpose adhesive cleaner or rubbing alcohol • Allow the surface to dry completely — applying over wet cleaner will prevent adhesion • Apply within the recommended temperature range: 60–104°F (15–40°C) • The temperature difference between the seal and the bonding surface should be as small as possible The seal bonds quickly once applied, so work carefully. Peeling up and repositioning will reduce adhesion quality.
Step-by-Step Installation: 1. Clean the Surface: Remove all old seals, adhesive, and residue using an adhesive cleaner or rubbing alcohol 2. Dry Completely: Allow the surface to dry fully before proceeding — moisture will prevent adhesion 3. Check Temperature: Ensure both the seal and bonding surface are between 60–104°F (15–40°C) 4.
