This wiper seal is designed to work in conjunction with a companion bulb seal, sold separately. The wiper alone does not provide a complete slide-out seal system — the bulb seal compresses against the RV body when the slide-out is closed. Confirm that you have or are ordering the correct companion bulb seal for your application before purchasing this wiper. Installation Temperature: Apply between 60°F and 104°F (15°C–40°C) for best adhesive bond strength. The temperature difference between the seal and the bonding surface should be as small as possible. Completely remove all old seal material, adhesive residue, dirt, wax, and moisture before applying, and wipe the surface with isopropyl alcohol to ensure a clean, dry bond.

Check Temperature: Confirm ambient temp is between 60°F and 104°F (15°C–40°C) — match surface and seal temperature as closely as possible 2. Prep the Surface: Remove all old seal material, adhesive residue, dirt, wax, and moisture completely from the RV frame 3. Clean & Dry: Wipe with isopropyl alcohol and allow to fully dry 4. Measure & Cut: Cut to required length with scissors or a sharp utility knife 5. Peel & Press: Remove the 3M adhesive backing and press the seal firmly onto the frame, working from one end to the other 6. Install Companion Bulb Seal: Complete the system by installing the separately purchased bulb seal 7.
