The Suburban Mfg 2591A (SF-42VHFQ) is a complete 40,000 BTU/h furnace built for mid-size and large RVs. Its slim 7-1/2" profile allows for easy installation in out-of-the-way areas, such as under furniture or inside tight compartments, maximizing usable interior space. It delivers over 24% more airflow than previous models, distributing heat faster and more evenly throughout the RV, and can be mounted either vertically or horizontally.
Like other SF-FQ models, the SF-42VHFQ is designed for interior serviceability with a front (inside) gas connection and a compact exterior venting system - no exterior access door is required, keeping the exterior clean and the installation straightforward. It's equipped with reliable direct spark ignition, eliminating the need for a pilot light and reducing fuel waste.
This furnace is commonly used as a replacement for SF-35FQ, SF-35VHFQ, SF-42FQ, and SF-42VHFQ models, along with compatible Dometic DFMD/DFLD and Atwood AFMD/AFLD furnaces (35,000 BTU or greater) and Atwood/Dometic Hydro-Flame 40,000 BTU furnaces.
