The Thetford 42135 Base Kit is the correct repair solution when the mechanical base of your Aqua-Magic® Style II Low Profile toilet has failed or worn out — but the china bowl itself is still in good condition. Rather than replacing the entire toilet, this OEM kit replaces all the wearing components in the base: the waste ball, water valve, foot pedal, seals, and hardware.
It's also an ideal upgrade if your base is showing its age — worn seals, a sticky or leaking water valve, a cracked pedal, or a waste ball that no longer seals cleanly. Replacing the complete base assembly restores the toilet to like-new function in about 15–20 minutes for most RV owners familiar with the toilet.

1. Shut off the water supply to the toilet 2. Flush to clear the bowl and remove remaining water from the base 3. Disconnect the water supply line from the old base 4. Remove the closet bolts securing the old base to the floor flange and lift off the old base 5. Position the new base assembly over the floor flange and secure with the included closet bolt kit 6. Reconnect the water supply line 7. Restore water supply, flush to test, and check for leaks Follow the included setup instructions for detailed guidance. Most installations take 15–20 minutes.
