The Valterra T40 adds or replaces a waste valve on your RV's waste system, most commonly used on the black water tank. Its 3" diameter passage lets wastewater travel freely when the valve is open, and shuts off completely when closed, giving you reliable control over your tank drainage.
The valve features a plastic handle paired with a 304 stainless steel shaft for long-term corrosion resistance, and valve seal gaskets block gaps to prevent leaks during operation. The 3" hub slides onto your sewer pipe, while the 3" spigot slides into it, for a straightforward in-line installation.

This valve is rated for a maximum pressure of 15 psi, a mid-flow rating of 0.5 psi, and a maximum working temperature of 167°F. On the hub side, internal dimension is approximately 3-1/2", and on the spigot side, internal dimension is approximately 3".
