The Winegard WF2-335 ConnecT 2.0 is an outdoor RV WiFi range extender designed to help improve access to available WiFi sources while traveling. Mounted on the RV roof, the ConnecT 2.0 can capture compatible 2.4 GHz WiFi signals from farther away than many standard indoor devices and rebroadcast the connection inside the RV as a private secure network.
This model is the WiFi-only WF2-335 version. It is designed for connecting to available WiFi sources such as campground WiFi, park WiFi, marina WiFi, or other compatible 2.4 GHz wireless networks. It does not require a SIM card for normal WiFi range extender operation.

The Winegard WF2-335 is the WiFi-only ConnecT 2.0 model. A SIM card is not required for normal operation, and a SIM card is not included with this model. Some Winegard ConnecT 2.0 manuals and listings also reference SIM cards because the same ConnecT 2.0 manual family covers 4G LTE-capable models. SIM card use applies to the LTE versions, such as the WF2-435, not the WF2-335 WiFi-only extender.
The Winegard WF2-335 is commonly used on motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers, destination trailers, and other RVs where owners want improved access to compatible campground, marina, park, or public WiFi networks. It is a good fit for RV owners who want to connect multiple devices inside the coach to one secure RV WiFi network after connecting the ConnecT 2.0 to an available external WiFi source.

Winegard recommends mounting the ConnecT 2.0 on a level area of the RV roof with clear line of sight and at least 12" from the roof edge or adjacent roof-mounted devices. The system requires 12V DC power and should be wired according to Winegard’s installation instructions, including proper fuse protection and sealing of roof penetrations with sealant approved for the RV roof material.
This product improves access to available WiFi sources, but it does not create internet service on its own. A usable WiFi network must be available within range, and any required WiFi password, campground login page, or service authorization must still be provided by the WiFi network owner.
The Winegard WF2-335 ConnecT 2.0 is a WiFi-only RV range extender with 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n wireless support, 450 Mbps wireless speed, WPA/WPA2 security, three high-gain WiFi antennas, DC 9-16V power input, 16" diameter x 8" tall antenna dimensions, and 3.75 lb. antenna weight. It does not include or require a SIM card. Verify roof mounting location, 12V power access, available WiFi source, setup device/browser access, and installation clearance before ordering.
