The Westin 6575813 is a W8 series proportional trailer brake control with 6 segment blue digital LCD display. It accommodates trailers with 1 to 4 axles. No leveling is needed and it also functions when the vehicle is in reverse. It features short circuit and reverse polarity protection. It can be installed in any position, and has FET (Field Effect Transistor) technology. FET technology helps to amplify signals. This type of brake control is made to apply the same amount of pressure to the trailer's brakes that is applied to the tow vehicle's brakes.
