Bigfoot SQI24-2PTS Hydraulic Trailer Dual Point Single Pump Jack Landing Gear System

Dual leg 12,000 lb hydraulic landing gear with single pump operation and 24" travel. Perfect for gooseneck trailers. Made in America.

Why Choose the Bigfoot SQI24-2PTS?

The Bigfoot SQI24-2PTS dual point landing gear system represents the professional-grade solution for gooseneck trailers, heavy equipment haulers, and large horse trailers requiring dual-leg stability. Engineered by Quadra Manufacturing in White Pigeon, Michigan since 1988, this American-made system delivers synchronized dual-cylinder operation from a single pump for balanced, reliable lifting. With 12,000 lb capacity per leg and 24 inches of travel, the SQI24-2PTS handles the heaviest gooseneck loads while maintaining the simplicity of single-pump hydraulics.

Built with rugged tube-in-tube construction and featuring large foot pads on both legs, this landing gear provides exceptional stability when your trailer is unhitched for extended periods. The single pump design keeps complexity low while the dual synchronized cylinders ensure even lifting on both sides—critical for preventing frame stress on gooseneck and heavy equipment trailers. Complete with weatherproof control box with key lock, universal mounting brackets, and all necessary wiring, the SQI24-2PTS installs on any horse trailer, cargo trailer, or equipment trailer requiring dual-leg support. At 225 lbs total weight, this is a substantial professional system designed for serious hauling applications.

⚠️ Before Installation - Critical Information

Professional Installation Strongly Recommended: At 225 lbs total weight and requiring precise alignment of dual cylinders, this system should be installed by professionals familiar with gooseneck trailer mounting and hydraulic systems.

Remote Mounting Option: The pump comes standard mounted to the front of one jack. For custom installations requiring remote pump mounting (away from jacks), you must supply extended hydraulic hoses—these are not included. Contact Quadra Manufacturing for hydraulic hose specifications and lengths needed for your specific application.

Trailer Requirements: Your trailer must have adequate frame structure on both sides to support dual-leg mounting. Gooseneck trailers, large horse trailers, and heavy equipment haulers typically have this structure. Bumper-pull trailers usually do not (use single jack instead).

Power Requirements: Requires dedicated 12-volt battery with sufficient amperage to operate dual-cylinder system. Do not connect to tow vehicle electrical system.

🎯 Perfect Applications for the SQI24-2PTS

Gooseneck Horse Trailers: Large 4-horse, 6-horse, and living quarter gooseneck trailers gain rock-solid stability with dual synchronized jacks providing balanced front support.

Gooseneck Equipment Trailers: Heavy equipment haulers carrying skid steers, excavators, tractors, and construction machinery require dual-leg landing gear for safe unhitched storage.

Gooseneck Cargo Trailers: Enclosed gooseneck cargo trailers and car haulers benefit from the 24,000 lb combined capacity when loaded with vehicles or heavy cargo.

Specialty Gooseneck Trailers: RV haulers, show trailers, concession trailers, and mobile workshops requiring dual-point front support for extended periods.

NOT For: Standard bumper-pull trailers—these typically use center-mounted single jacks. Fifth wheel trailers use different pin box systems.

The key decision factor is your trailer type: Gooseneck trailers almost always require dual landing gear for balanced front support, while bumper-pull trailers use center-mounted single jacks. If your trailer has a gooseneck connection (pin box in the bed of your truck) and side-by-side frame rails at the front, you need dual landing gear like the SQI24-2PTS.

Single Pump vs. Dual Pump Landing Gear Systems

Feature Single Pump (This System) Dual Pump Systems
Operation
Both jacks operate together simultaneously
Each jack operates independently
Complexity
Simpler - One pump, synchronized cylinders
More complex - Two pumps, independent controls
Synchronized Lifting
Automatic - Both cylinders always move together
Manual - Operator must coordinate both jacks
Maintenance
Lower - One pump to maintain
Higher - Two pumps require service
Failure Risk
Single point of failure (pump)
Redundancy - One pump can still operate
Independent Adjustment
Not possible - Both jacks move together
Possible - Adjust each side individually
Best For
