Direct-fit OE upgrade rear shock for 1999–2006 first-generation Toyota Tundra at stock height. Fits 2WD and 4WD. Standard chassis only — excludes air leveling / Nivomat suspension. Hardware included (lower spring mount only). Made in the USA.
The Bilstein 24-185394 B6 4600 Series Rear Shock Absorber is a direct-fit OE upgrade for the first-generation Toyota Tundra — one of the most capable and respected mid-size truck platforms of its era. Built from 1999 through 2006, the first-gen Tundra was Toyota's serious entry into the full-size truck segment, and many of them are still in daily service with well over 100,000 miles on the clock. At those miles, worn factory rear shocks are a near-certainty — and the 4600 series is the right upgrade to restore and exceed the truck's original rear suspension performance.
Precisely valved for the first-gen Tundra at stock height, this shock improves rear axle control under towing and payload loads, delivers a more settled highway ride, and gives the truck the composed, confident rear-end feel that makes a real difference on daily drives and loaded hauls alike.
Stem upper / eyelet lower — direct bolt-on replacement at stock height for both 2WD and 4WD first-gen Tundras
Fade-free rear damping under towing and payload loads — consistent performance whether empty or loaded
Fits both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive first-gen Tundra configurations at stock height
Designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA. Backed by Bilstein's limited lifetime warranty
