A Curt weight distribution hitch gives you stable, controlled towing by redistributing weight at the coupling point and leveling the entire vehicle-trailer combination. All weight distribution hitches use an adjustable shank to mount onto your vehicle's receiver hitch, letting you dial in the exact height needed for each trailer load. This replacement shank works with any Curt weight distribution hitch, whether you're replacing a damaged shank or want greater flexibility in vertical adjustment.
The 2" horizontal shank is designed to fit any 2" x 2" trailer hitch receiver, making it a good match for most Curt Class 3, Class 4, or Xtra Duty Class 5 hitches. Holes in the vertical shank are spaced 1-1/4" apart with a 3/4" diameter, giving you a wide range of incremental height adjustment. Standing 10-3/4" high by 14" long overall, it provides a maximum rise of 8-7/8", or can be flipped in the receiver tube for a maximum drop of 5-5/8".
