The 3/8 in flare standard is common on LP regulators, bulk tank POL adapters (with appropriate adapter), and many portable appliance inlets. If your appliance has a threaded brass inlet with a 45-degree beveled seat, it is a flare fitting. If it has straight threads with a rubber O-ring, it is a different standard (QCC or ACME) and this hose is not the correct match.
After installation, always perform a leak check before use. Apply a propane-approved leak detection solution (or diluted dish soap) to all connections, open the gas valve slowly, and inspect for bubbles. If any bubbles appear, close the valve, tighten the connection, and recheck before operating the appliance.
