Overview

The Remco 55AQUAJET-AES (Aquajet Variable Speed) is built for coaches that run multiple fixtures at once. Its five-chamber head and smart variable-speed controller ramp motor speed to match demand—smoother flow, less pulsation, and strong pressure up to 65 PSI without an accumulator tank.

Install & Setup Tips

  1. Mount on a firm surface with rubber isolators. Keep suction runs short and airtight.
  2. Use a strainer on the inlet and flex lines 12–18" on both sides to cut noise.
  3. Wire with 14 AWG (min) to a fused 12V source; Remco leads are 14 AWG, 12" (red + / black –).
  4. Open a faucet and power the pump to prime; the controller will ramp speed to meet demand.
  5. If an accumulator exists, bypass or remove so the variable-speed control can do its job.
Duty cycle: Intermittent. Typical 30–45 min run, then allow ~20 min cool-down on heavy continuous use.

Do I need an accumulator tank?
No. The variable-speed controller eliminates the need for an accumulator. If you already have one installed, bypass or remove it.
Is the pump OK to run dry?
Yes—short periods and even extended testing won’t damage components, but avoid unnecessary dry-run to reduce heat.
How can I make it quieter?
Use a strainer, flex lines on both sides, rubber feet, and consider the IRVWPC2 controller for very smooth low-flow operation.

Remco Industries (“Remco”) warrants its Model Aquajet RV Pumps (Part Numbers 55AQUAJET-ORV, 55AQUAJET-ARV,
55AQUAJET-OES, and 55AQUAJET-AES) to be free from defects in material and workmanship under the following terms:
The duration of the warranty will be for a period of 2 years from date of shipping from a Remco warehouse. Remco’s
obligation under this warranty shall be limited to, replacing or repairing at Remco’s discretion, any such product or part
which is returned to Remco’s factory with a Return Material Authorization Number (RMA No.) and upon evaluation,
product is deemed defective under the terms of warranty to Remco’s satisfaction. Transportation charges will have to be
pre-approved by Remco or prepaid by customer. No credit will be allowed against future purchases for items returned as
defective under the terms of the warranty.
This warranty does not extend to any products, which have been altered or modified outside the Remco factory, to
any products that have not been properly maintained, nor does it apply to units that are returned in an unassembled
condition. Furthermore, this warranty does not cover any damage or defects occurring from customer’s failure to follow
pump label instructions or Operational and Installation Guidelines. The warranty guarantees that the pump will perform
to Remco’s flow and pressure specifications throughout the life of this warranty, under normal operating conditions.
The warranty does not cover wear, appearance, misuse, abuse, misapplication or external water damage. If the
returned product is not found to be defective under the terms of this warranty, customer will be responsible for repair or
replacement costs.
This is a Limited Warranty. It covers the product only and the extent of the coverage is limited only to the cost of the
product. As the manufacturer has no control over shipping, handling and installation, the warranty cannot cover water
damage, or any other damage, caused by a leak or other malfunction.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO PERSON IS AUTHORIZED TO GIVE ANY
OTHER WARRANTY OR ASSUME OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY ON REMCO’S BEHALF. REMCO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE
FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND INCURRED BY THE
REASON OF THE USE OR SALE OF ANY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OR PART. THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE GOVERNED
BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, WITH ANY WARRANTY RELATED DISPUTE VENUED OR HEARD IN
THE STATE OF MINNESOTA.
