This is the Bypass model (9559-2E5-961). Here's how the two control types work: Bypass (This Pump): The pump runs continuously. When spray gun/valve is closed, excess flow recirculates back to the tank through an internal bypass. Pressure stays constant at 60 PSI. Ideal for continuous spraying operations where the pump runs for extended periods. Demand: The pump has a pressure switch that turns the motor off when the spray gun is closed. Motor cycles on/off as you spray. Better for intermittent use where the pump sits idle between sprays. For agricultural spraying, industrial applications, and continuous duty cycles, the bypass design is typically preferred.

This pump is NOT intended for soft wash use. Using soft wash chemicals (sodium hypochlorite/bleach solutions) in this pump will void the warranty. For soft wash and heavy bleach applications, Remco offers the Zeus SmoothFlo series which is specifically designed for those chemicals with different internal components.

At up to 46 amps maximum draw, the Zeus requires properly sized wiring and fusing. Use a minimum 50 amp fuse and ensure your wire gauge is appropriate for the length of your run. Undersized wiring can cause voltage drop, reduced performance, and potential fire hazard. Tip: Run power directly from the battery with a relay controlled by your spray system switch.
