18" RV propane pigtail hose connector designed to connect a QCC/Type 1 propane cylinder to an RV or trailer propane regulator with a 1/4" inverted flare inlet. Features built-in thermal protection, excess-flow protection, and a hose rating up to 350 PSI maximum working pressure.
The Flame King E18INPT is an 18" propane pigtail hose connector designed for RVs, trailers, vans, and campers using a standard QCC/Type 1 propane cylinder connection. It connects the propane cylinder to a compatible RV propane regulator or 4-port brass tee with a 1/4" inverted male flare connection.
This replacement pigtail hose is useful when the original hose is cracked, leaking, worn, stiff, damaged, or due for replacement. It includes built-in safety features such as thermal protection in case of fire and excess-flow protection in case of a broken gas line.

Connects to QCC/Type 1 refillable propane tanks up to 40 lbs
Designed for regulators with a matching 1/4" inverted flare inlet
Includes thermal protection and excess-flow protection
This Flame King E18INPT hose has a Type 1/QCC ACME nut x 1/4" inverted male flare connection. It is not a 1/4" NPT hose. Before ordering, confirm that your RV propane regulator or tee uses a matching 1/4" inverted flare inlet. If your setup requires 1/4" male NPT, this is not the correct hose.
This 18" pigtail hose is commonly used to connect a propane cylinder to an RV or trailer propane regulator. Propane tank side: Type 1/QCC ACME nut for compatible refillable propane cylinders. Regulator side: 1/4" inverted male flare connection for matching regulator inlets. Auxiliary setup: May also be used with compatible 4-port brass tee setups when the fitting style matches.
1. Shut Off Propane: Close the propane cylinder valve and make sure all propane appliances are turned off before replacing the hose. 2. Remove Old Pigtail: Disconnect the existing hose from the propane cylinder and regulator or tee connection. 3. Confirm Fitting Style: Verify that the regulator inlet uses a 1/4" inverted flare connection before installing this hose. 4. Install New Hose: Connect the ACME nut to the propane cylinder and the inverted flare fitting to the regulator or compatible tee. 5. Leak Test: Open the propane valve slowly and leak-test all connections before operating any propane appliance. LP gas service should be performed by a qualified RV technician. Never use open flame to check for leaks.
