The OEM male quick coupler that keeps your Pro-Fill or Millennium Evo battery watering system running. This snap-on fitting terminates a 3/8 inch ID tubing run and mates directly with the female valves on your battery cells -- no tools, no spills, no guesswork.
Battery watering systems depend on a reliable chain of fittings and valves. When a quick coupler cracks, leaks, or gets lost during maintenance, the whole loop is broken. The Flow-Rite BA-QDV-500 is the male half of that connection -- it slips onto 3/8 inch OD tubing and snaps cleanly into the female valves mounted on each battery cell cap.
This is a genuine Flow-Rite replacement part, built to the same tolerances as the couplers that shipped on new Pro-Fill and Millennium Evo kits. It is not a generic barb -- the quick-connect collar is specific to the Flow-Rite valve interface. If you are replacing a damaged coupler or expanding an existing run, this is the correct part.
Snap-on engagement mates directly with Flow-Rite female valves. No threading, no clamps, no tools at the coupler joint.
Accepts standard 3/8 inch ID polyethylene or vinyl tubing used throughout Pro-Fill and Millennium Evo kits.
The valve at the female end stays closed until fully engaged, minimizing electrolyte contact during connect and disconnect.
Molded from acid-resistant polymer compatible with battery electrolyte and distilled water service.
In a Flow-Rite Pro-Fill or Millennium Evo system, tubing runs from a central fill point to each battery cell. At every cell, a male quick coupler on the tubing snaps into a female valve that threads into the vent cap. When you press the fill trigger, water flows through the line and the valve meters fill level automatically. The BA-QDV-500 is that male coupler -- the piece that physically connects your tubing to the cell valve.
Because it is removed and reinstalled every time you service the battery bank, it is one of the more wear-prone consumable parts in the system. Keeping a spare on hand is good practice for full-timers and anyone with large battery banks.
The BA-QDV-500 is manufactured to Flow-Rite OEM specifications. It ensures proper engagement force and seal integrity with the female valves in your existing Pro-Fill or Millennium Evo installation. Aftermarket couplers with similar barb diameters may not lock or seal correctly with the Flow-Rite valve collar.
This coupler is designed for use with the following Flow-Rite battery watering systems and components:
This is the male coupler only. It does not include female cell valves, tubing, fill probes, or handles. If you are rebuilding or extending a system, verify the female valve part number separately to ensure coupler-valve compatibility.
Buyers typically need the BA-QDV-500 when:
Installation requires no special tools. Slide the barb end onto your 3/8 inch ID tubing -- a small amount of silicone grease on the barb eases assembly and reduces the chance of cracking the tubing. Push the tubing firmly past the first barb ridge. Then press the quick-connect collar of the BA-QDV-500 straight into the female valve on the battery cell until you feel and hear it click into place. To disconnect, depress the release collar on the female valve and pull the coupler straight back.
Buyers replacing or extending a Pro-Fill system often also need:
Confirm your cell valve part number before ordering multiple couplers for a rebuild to ensure the full system uses matched hardware.
