The Furrion C-FSFP16MW-A02 is the Z-bracket mounting kit Furrion specifies for its rigid RV rooftop solar panels, including the 165W FSFP16MW-BL panel. The kit consists of four brackets plus the hardware needed to attach the solar panel to the brackets and the brackets to the RV roof, providing a solid, raised mount.
Per Furrion's own installation manuals, the mounting structure must be durable, corrosion-resistant, and UV-resistant — requirements this kit is designed to meet. Furrion recommends a minimum clearance of approximately 13/16" (20mm) between the roof plane and the panel frame for adequate ventilation underneath the panel, and advises positioning the panel so its lowest edge won't be covered by snow or shaded by nearby trees or vegetation in regions where that's a concern. As an alternative mounting style, Furrion also offers an L-bracket kit (C-FSFP37MW-A02) for different mounting configurations.
