The 708-0040 covers one panel-to-controller connection (one male + one female connector). If you are wiring multiple panels in parallel, you will need the 708-0050 PV Branch Connector pair instead, which is designed specifically for combining multiple panel outputs into a single feed to the charge controller. Note: Per NEC and UL6703 standards, MC4 connectors should only be mated with connectors of the same type and brand. Use Xantrex connectors with Xantrex panels and cables to ensure a safe, compliant installation.
