A direct OEM-spec replacement propane supply line built for the demands of RV appliance hookups. This 48-inch hose uses a 3/8" ID rubber core rated for LP gas service and terminates with 3/8" female swivel SAE fittings on both ends, making it a drop-in fit for many OEM propane routing applications without adapters or modification.
Propane hoses in RVs take a beating -- heat cycles, vibration, ozone exposure, and years of flexing between a regulator and an appliance. The JR Products 07-31335 is built to OEM standards so it meets the same specifications as the hose that came out of your rig from the factory. The 48-inch length gives enough slack to route cleanly through most compartment layouts without stress on the fittings.
Both ends use 3/8" female swivel SAE fittings, the standard connection type found on most RV LP regulators, range connectors, and appliance manifold inlets. The swivel design lets you tighten without twisting the hose body, protecting against kinks at the fitting root.
3/8" ID rubber hose constructed to LP gas service standards, resistant to propane permeation and fuel-related degradation.
3/8" female swivel SAE fittings on both ends allow wrench-tightening without twisting or kinking the hose body.
Meets both Underwriters Laboratories and Canadian Standards Association requirements for LP gas service -- the certifications inspectors and insurance adjusters look for.
Generous length handles most OEM routing paths from regulator to appliance connection without the need for extension fittings.
The 3/8" female swivel SAE fitting is the most common thread standard in RV propane systems. It connects directly to:
Use a small amount of leak-detection solution or soapy water on both connections after installation. Do not use PTFE tape on SAE flare-style LP fittings -- these are metal-to-metal flare seats that seal by contact, not thread compound. Tighten fittings snugly with a wrench; do not overtighten or cross-thread.
Propane supply hoses should be inspected annually and replaced if any of the following are present:
