A reliable, code-approved propane pigtail hose for connecting your RV LP cylinder to the regulator or appliance. The 48-inch length gives you enough working slack to connect tanks without awkward angles, and the UL/CSA certification means it meets the safety standards required for LP service in North America.
JR Products part 06-0130 is an OEM-style replacement pigtail hose built specifically for RV propane applications. One end features a standard POL (Prest-O-Lite) fitting that threads directly into a conventional LP cylinder valve -- the same left-hand-thread connection found on virtually all standard propane tanks used in RV service. The opposite end uses a 1/4" male inverted flare fitting, the most common connection type on RV regulators, two-stage regulators, and many appliance supply lines.
The hose body is 1/4" ID rubber construction rated for LP gas service. At 48 inches total length, it provides enough reach to route cleanly through most RV propane compartments without creating tight bends that can fatigue fittings over time.
Left-hand POL threads connect directly to standard propane cylinder valves -- no adapters needed for most RV tanks.
Male inverted flare end mates with standard RV regulators and appliance supply connections.
Meets Underwriters Laboratories and Canadian Standards Association requirements for LP gas hose service.
Generous length allows clean routing in propane compartments and reduces stress on fittings during tank changes.
Pigtail hoses like the 06-0130 appear in several locations in a typical RV LP system:
The POL end uses left-hand (reverse) threads -- turn counterclockwise to tighten onto the cylinder valve. The 1/4" inverted flare end uses standard right-hand threads. Tighten with two wrenches: one to hold the fitting body, one to turn the nut. Do not over-torque brass fittings.
