The JR Products 02-29115 is a replacement mushroom-style plumbing vent for RV roofs, designed to vent sewer gas and holding tank odors to the outside. The low-profile design reduces the risk of damage in areas with low clearance, such as under carports or low tree branches. Durable black plastic construction resists cracking and UV damage over time. The screw-on cap design keeps the vent securely in place while driving, and stainless steel mounting hardware is included for a solid installation.
Remove the cap prior to installation and orient the vent properly to prevent water leakage. Use butyl tape on the bottom ring of the vent and a self-leveling sealant over the top of the ring around the mounting holes to prevent water intrusion. JR Products recommends its P/N 04195 hatch installation kit for this vent. Also available in white as JR Products 02-29125.
