A clean, modern drop-in replacement for tired or damaged RV galley sinks. The Lippert 209351 is built from scratch-resistant ABS acrylic -- 20 to 25% lighter than comparable fiberglass sinks -- making it a realistic one-person DIY install in most Class A, Class C, fifth wheel, and travel trailer kitchens where a 13" x 15" cutout is present.
RV galley sinks have to work harder than their residential cousins -- limited counter real estate, shallow cabinetry below, and constant vibration from the road. Lippert engineered the 209351 specifically for this environment. The compact 13" x 15" footprint fits the narrow countertops found in most RV kitchens without sacrificing a usable 5" depth, giving you enough bowl to wash a full day's cookware.
The molded channel grooves in the basin floor actively direct water toward the drain rather than letting it pool, which reduces moisture buildup and keeps the sink looking cleaner between washes -- especially useful when you're parked and not running the water pump continuously.
Scratch-resistant ABS acrylic is 20-25% lighter than fiberglass and resists staining, chipping, and road-vibration cracking better than porcelain-coated alternatives.
Molded grooves channel water directly to the drain opening, preventing standing water from sitting in the bowl and reducing mildew buildup in humid climates.
Designed for the limited counter space in RV kitchens. Fits most existing cutouts in travel trailers, fifth wheels, Class A and Class C motorhomes where a single-bowl galley sink is installed.
The warm parchment color coordinates with cream, off-white, and beige RV interior color schemes common in Lippert-equipped coaches and many OEM travel trailer kitchens.
The 209351 ships as the sink basin only. You will need to source a drain assembly, strainer basket, any supply lines, and a faucet separately if you are doing a full kitchen refresh. The sink accepts a standard 1-1/2" drain fitting, which is the RV/residential norm and is widely available at any RV parts retailer or big-box home improvement store.
At only 3 lbs., handling during installation is easy, and the reduced weight keeps your countertop cabinet structure under less stress over time -- a real advantage in lightweight travel trailers where cabinetry is often 3/4" particleboard or thin plywood.
ABS acrylic holds up well to the expansion and contraction cycles that come with seasonal temperature swings in an RV. Unlike porcelain, it won't chip if a cast-iron pan drops in it. Unlike fiberglass, it won't craze or yellow as quickly with age.
This is a drop-in (self-rimming) sink. The rim rests on the countertop surface and is sealed with silicone or plumber's putty along the perimeter. Most installers use a bead of silicone sealant under the rim lip to prevent water intrusion into the countertop substrate -- especially important in RV applications where the countertop is typically particleboard or MDF and will swell if moisture gets underneath.
The Lippert 209351 basin itself does not include pre-drilled faucet holes. In most RV installations, the faucet mounts through the countertop or through a separate deck plate alongside the sink. Confirm your existing faucet mount location before ordering to avoid surprises during installation.
The parchment finish is one of the most common neutral tones used by RV manufacturers throughout the 1990s and 2000s and continues to appear in many coaches today. If you are replacing a damaged OEM sink and want the interior to look factory-original rather than mismatched, parchment is the right choice for coaches with off-white or cream interior decor.
Lippert also offers the same 13" x 15" x 5" galley sink in white and biscuit finishes under different part numbers for coaches with different decor packages. If parchment is not the right match, check those alternate SKUs before purchasing.
Clean ABS acrylic sinks with non-abrasive cleaners only. Avoid steel wool, scouring pads, or powder cleansers -- they will scratch the gloss surface permanently. A soft cloth with mild dish soap or a dedicated acrylic-safe cleaner keeps the finish looking new longer.
