A direct OEM-grade replacement for the Kwikee 905327000 magnetic door switch. This black 3/8" core round switch keeps your automatic entry step system working reliably -- triggering step deployment when the door opens and retracting when it closes. Compatible with Kwikee black step controls manufactured since February 1999.
The door switch is the trigger that tells your Kwikee electric step when to deploy and when to retract. When this small magnetic switch fails, your steps may stop responding to the door, stay out permanently, or refuse to extend at all. Replacing it with the correct OEM Lippert part restores normal operation without reprogramming or additional hardware.
This is a normally open (NO) magnetic switch with a 3/8" round core profile. It is designed specifically for Kwikee step control units finished in black -- the generation of controls introduced in February 1999. The black color coding is not cosmetic; it identifies a specific wiring and control board generation. Installing the wrong-color switch on a mismatched control can cause erratic step behavior.
Replaces Kwikee part 905327000. No modifications needed for compatible black-control step systems.
Switch closes the circuit when the door opens, signaling the step control to deploy the steps automatically.
Compact round-body design fits the factory mounting location in the door frame without drilling or adapters.
Works with Kwikee black control units 909506000, 909507000, and 909508000 -- the most common post-1999 step controllers.
This switch is confirmed for use with the following Kwikee black control units (post-February 1999 production):
