Keep bugs out and conditioned air in. The Lippert Screen Shot installs in minutes and automatically pulls your RV screen door shut every time someone passes through -- no slamming, no manual latching, no propped-open doors letting mosquitoes in at camp.
RV screen doors see constant in-and-out traffic -- kids, pets, groceries, gear. Every time that door swings open and isn't pulled closed immediately, insects find their way in and your A/C or heat bleeds out. The Lippert Screen Shot solves that with a simple elastic webbing system anchored directly inside the door's inner channels. When the door opens, the webbing stretches. When you let go, it retracts and pulls the door smoothly back to the closed position.
Unlike spring-loaded closers that bang the door shut, the Screen Shot's elastic webbing controls the return speed, so the door closes firmly but quietly. It mounts entirely inside the existing door channel -- no external hardware is visible from outside, and no drilling into the main door frame is required.
Elastic webbing retracts the door smoothly after every entry or exit -- no forgotten open doors, no manual latching required.
Webbing tension brings the door shut firmly without slamming -- better for the door hardware and quieter for early mornings or late nights at camp.
Custom anchors seat inside the screen door's inner channels and are secured with anchor screws -- no visible external hardware and no major modifications needed.
Comes with the elastic webbing assembly, custom channel anchors, and all required fasteners. No separate trip to the hardware store.
The elastic webbing runs from an anchor mounted in the door jamb to an anchor mounted in the screen door channel. As the door opens, the webbing stretches and stores energy. The moment you release the door, that stored tension pulls it back to the closed and latched position. The webbing is installed inside the door jamb channel, keeping it protected from UV exposure and out of the path of normal entry and exit traffic.
This closer is sized for a 22-inch RV entry door (actual webbing/component length is 19.5 inches). It is compatible only with Lippert (LCI) right-hand entry doors. Left-hand doors, or doors from other manufacturers, are not compatible.
The Screen Shot is designed for DIY installation without special tools. The custom anchors are shaped to fit snugly into the screen door's inner channel profile. Anchor screws hold each end in place, and the webbing connects the two. Most owners complete installation in under 30 minutes. All required fasteners are included in the box.
