Give your RV a fresh look and reliable shade with the Lippert Solera replacement vinyl awning fabric. This 11'1" wide, Green Fade fabric is purpose-built for 12 ft. awning assemblies and is cross-compatible with Solera, Dometic, and Carefree awning hardware. Built from 13.5-oz vinyl with heat-welded seams and cold-crack resistance down to -25F, it is engineered to hold up through seasons of sun, rain, and road miles.
When your original awning fabric fades, tears, or develops leaks, replacing it with the correct Lippert Solera fabric restores full function without requiring a new roller assembly or arm hardware. This fabric is made to order specifically for your awning size, ensuring a proper fit across all critical dimensions.
The Green Fade colorway provides a gradient appearance that complements a wide range of RV exterior colors, while the white underside reflects heat and brightens the shade area below. A poly cord sewn into the forward hem allows an optional LED light track to be routed along the front edge -- the light track and LED lights are sold separately.
Commercial-weight vinyl fabric resists UV degradation, mildew, and tearing through extended outdoor exposure.
Seams are thermally fused rather than stitched, eliminating needle holes and creating leak-resistant bonds at high-stress points.
Fabric remains flexible and crack-resistant in subfreezing temperatures, making it suitable for three-season or year-round camping.
An integrated poly cord along the front hem accepts an optional LED light track for evening ambiance -- no additional drilling required.
This fabric is designed for 12 ft. awning assemblies. Per Lippert's standard sizing convention, the fabric width (11'1") is approximately 11 inches shorter than the stated awning size -- this is normal and accounts for the roller tube end caps and hardware clearance. Measure your existing fabric or roller tube span before ordering.
The 13.5-oz vinyl construction is the same weight class used on OEM RV awnings from major manufacturers. The fabric face carries the Green Fade color treatment, while the underside is finished in white to maximize light reflection and interior comfort under the awning.
Replacement fabric installation requires removing the existing fabric from the roller tube and re-threading or re-clamping the new fabric. The process typically involves loosening set screws on the roller tube, inserting the fabric's spline or rope hem into the tube channel, and re-rolling the fabric under tension. A second person is strongly recommended for safe handling of the full-length fabric during installation.
Covered by a Lippert Limited 5-Year Manufacturer Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.
