Lippert / Solera Part 643918 OEM Replacement Solera Regal Awning Head Block Cover -- White

A cracked, faded, or missing head block cover does more than look bad -- it exposes the internal arm hardware of your Solera Regal awning to road debris, UV, and water intrusion. Lippert part 643918 is the direct OEM replacement cover, snapping back into position to restore a clean finish and protect the pivot hardware at the head end of your awning arm.

Keep Your Solera Regal Awning Looking and Working Like New

The Solera Regal is one of Lippert's premium manual and automatic RV slide-topper and patio awning arm systems, found on a wide range of Class A motorhomes, fifth wheels, and travel trailers. The head block cover sits at the upper pivot point of each awning arm, concealing the mounting hardware and providing a finished appearance from the curb side of the coach.

Over time, these covers can crack from UV exposure, break during awning operation, or simply go missing after a hard trip. Because the cover is a structural-appearance component -- not a load-bearing one -- a like-for-like plastic replacement is all that's needed to get things back in order. Lippert's 643918 is molded to the original dimensions and clips into the original mounting points without modification.

OEM Direct Fit

Engineered specifically for Solera Regal arm assemblies. Uses the factory clip and screw pattern -- no drilling or adapters required.

UV-Resistant Plastic

Molded in white, UV-stabilized material to resist fading and cracking through seasons of sun and road exposure.

Protects Pivot Hardware

Shields the internal pivot pin and mounting hardware from moisture, road grime, and insects that can accelerate corrosion and binding.

Lightweight Design

At just 0.37 lbs, the cover adds negligible weight and does not affect awning balance or travel locks.

Where This Part Fits in the Solera Lineup

Lippert's Solera awning family includes several arm styles -- the standard Solera, the Solera Regal, and the Solera Power awning systems. The Regal arm is identifiable by its heavier-gauge extruded arm profile and more substantial head casting compared to the base Solera arm. If you are unsure which arm you have, measure the head block area and compare it to the dimensions of this cover: 10.82 in. long x 4.61 in. wide x 2.46 in. tall. A match on all three dimensions confirms this is the correct cover for your arm.

This cover applies to the head end (coach-side upper attachment point) of the arm assembly, not the foot end. If you need the lower foot block cover or the outer end cap, those are separate Lippert part numbers.

Quick Visual Check: The head block cover is the plastic piece at the top of the arm where it pivots against the awning rail or wall bracket. It typically has one or two visible screws or snap tabs holding it in place. Removal is usually a matter of backing out those screws and pulling the cover away from the arm casting.

Installation Notes

Installation is straightforward and requires only basic hand tools:

  • Retract the awning fully and engage the travel locks before beginning.
  • Remove the retaining screws (typically Phillips head) from the old cover.
  • Pull the damaged cover free of the arm casting.
  • Seat the new 643918 cover over the casting, aligning the screw holes.
  • Reinstall and snug the screws -- do not overtighten into the plastic boss.
One Cover Per Package: Part 643918 includes a single head block cover. Patio awning systems typically have two arms, so order two covers if both ends need replacement.

Common Applications

The Solera Regal awning arm system has been factory-installed on a broad range of coaches from Forest River, Coachmen, Keystone, and other manufacturers that source their awning hardware from Lippert. If your awning arm has a Lippert or Solera label and the arm profile matches the Regal series, this cover is the correct OEM replacement.

Maintenance Tip: While the cover is off, inspect the pivot pin, spring clip, and any nylon washers at the head block. Clean out any debris and apply a light coat of white lithium grease to the pivot surfaces before reinstalling the cover. This prevents binding and squeaking during awning operation.

Important Information
  • This part replaces the HEAD BLOCK cover only -- the cover at the upper pivot point. It is not the foot block cover, end cap rail plug, or rafter end cap. Confirm which piece is damaged before ordering.
  • One (1) cover is included per package. Most patio awning systems use two arms; order accordingly.
  • Confirm compatibility by measuring your existing cover (10.82 x 4.61 x 2.46 in.). If your measurements differ significantly, this part may not be the correct fit for your arm model.
  • Always retract and lock the awning before removing or installing the head block cover. Do not attempt replacement with the awning extended or under load.
  • Do not overtighten screws into the plastic mounting bosses -- snug is sufficient. Overtightening will crack the new cover.
