MB Sturgis 350 PSI Max UL/CGA Approved MB Sturgis Dual Quick Connect 48" Propane Hose -- Part 100395-48-MBS

Connect a quick-disconnect propane appliance directly to your RV's quick-connect port with this 48-inch dual quick-connect LP hose. With a Model 250 male plug on one end and a Model 250 female socket on the other, this hose bridges an appliance's male QD fitting to a female QD outlet already on your rig -- no adapters, no thread-matching headaches. UL/CGA approved and Made in the USA.

Extend Your Reach Without Sacrificing Safety

Whether you're running a portable LP grill, a camp stove, or a small propane heater from your RV's onboard supply, the MB Sturgis 100395-48-MBS gives you a convenient 48-inch extension between a female quick-disconnect outlet and any appliance equipped with a male Model 250 quick-disconnect plug. The 48-inch length is practical for outdoor cooking setups where the appliance sits on a picnic table or side deck away from the RV wall port.

The hose itself is a 1/4" ID thermoplastic assembly -- flexible across a wide temperature range and rated for continuous LP gas service. Both end fittings follow the Model 250 quick-disconnect standard, which is the most widely used QD format in the RV propane accessory market.

Dual Quick-Connect Design

Male Model 250 QD plug on one end, female Model 250 QD socket on the other -- connects appliance-to-RV port without tools or thread adapters.

350 PSI Rated

Maximum working pressure of 350 PSI -- well above typical RV LP system pressures (usually 11" water column / under 1 PSI after regulation).

Wide Temperature Range

Rated from -40F to 140F (-40C to 60C), handling cold-weather camping and warm outdoor cooking environments without cracking or stiffening.

UL/CGA Approved, Made in USA

Meets UL and CGA safety standards for LP gas hose assemblies. Manufactured in the USA with a limited 1-year manufacturer warranty.

What Is a Model 250 Quick Disconnect?

The "Model 250" designation refers to the most common quarter-inch quick-disconnect standard used in RV propane systems. These fittings automatically seal when disconnected, so you don't need to shut off a valve every time you unplug a portable appliance. The male plug snaps into the female socket and locks under gas pressure; a collar release disconnects it. Many RV manufacturers install female Model 250 QD ports directly on the exterior LP bulkhead for just this purpose.

This hose is designed to go between two quick-connect points -- a female QD outlet (on the RV wall or a distribution manifold) and a male QD plug (on the appliance). If your appliance has a POL, ACME, or 1/4" inverted flare connection instead of a male QD plug, this hose is not the right fit.

Common Use Cases
  • Portable LP grills and camp stoves with male Model 250 QD plugs
  • Small propane heaters (portable catalytic or radiant types) equipped with QD connections
  • Propane lanterns and accessories using QD fittings
  • Extending reach from an RV exterior LP port to a nearby outdoor cooking area

Hose Construction and Materials

The hose body is a 1/4" ID thermoplastic construction -- lighter and more flexible than rubber hoses of the same rating, while still delivering the pressure margin and temperature range needed for safe LP gas service. The fittings are brass, which is standard for LP quick-disconnect assemblies and compatible with propane without corrosion concerns.

LP Gas Only
This hose assembly is designed and approved for liquefied petroleum (LP/propane) gas use only. It is not rated for natural gas, compressed air, or any other medium.

Installation Notes

No tools are required to connect or disconnect this hose. To connect: push the male QD plug firmly into the female QD socket until it clicks. To disconnect: pull back the collar on the female socket and pull the hose free. Always confirm the gas supply is off before disconnecting during storage or transport.

Storage and Maintenance Tips
  • Inspect the hose and fittings before each use for cracks, kinks, or signs of wear.
  • Keep the hose away from direct heat sources, sharp edges, and high-traffic areas where it could be stepped on or driven over.
  • When not in use, store coiled loosely -- do not fold sharply or store under compression.
  • Apply a small amount of soapy water to connections after hookup to check for leaks before lighting any appliance.
Not for High-Pressure (Unregulated) LP Applications
While this hose is rated to 350 PSI, it is intended for use on the regulated (low-pressure) side of the LP system -- downstream of your RV's main regulator. Do not install between an unregulated tank valve and an appliance without appropriate regulation.

Important Information -- Read Before Use
  • For LP (propane) gas use ONLY. Not rated for natural gas, compressed air, or other gases.
  • Always inspect the hose and both fittings for damage, cracks, or deterioration before connecting to a gas supply.
  • After connecting, perform a soap-and-water bubble test on all connections before igniting any appliance.
  • Do not use near open flames, sparks, or heat sources. Keep away from sharp edges and hot surfaces.
  • Do not exceed 350 PSI working pressure. Intended for regulated (low-pressure) LP system use downstream of the RV main regulator.
  • Temperature limits: -40F to 140F. Do not use outside this range.
  • Disconnect the hose and store the appliance safely before moving or towing the RV.
  • If you smell gas at any time, shut off the LP supply immediately, extinguish all flames, and ventilate the area before investigating.
