The MORryde STP54-076 Add-A-Step Tread is the permanent, integrated solution: it attaches directly to your existing Gen 2 StepAbove® step system to create an additional ground-level step that closes the gap between the bottom step and the ground.
Designed specifically for RVs with narrower step configurations, the STP54-076 offers a compact 19.5" x 7" tread platform that's ideal for tighter entry spaces while still maintaining stable, confident footing. The Add-A-Step Tread is adjustable to accommodate both 8" and 9" rise heights, so a single product fits your entry without guesswork. Installation is quick-attach — no drilling, no permanent modifications to the step system — and the tread can be removed just as easily when not needed. It works only with MORryde Gen 2 StepAbove® steps (identifiable by their wider top step), and is not compatible with Gen 1 StepAbove®, Flip Tread steps, or LCI steps.

The STP54-076 Add-A-Step Tread is designed exclusively for MORryde Gen 2 StepAbove® steps. It is not compatible with: • Flip Tread Steps • LCI Steps • Gen 1 StepAbove® steps • Any non-MORryde step system How to identify Gen 2 StepAbove® steps: Gen 2 models are recognizable by their wider top step. If you are unsure whether your steps are Gen 2 StepAbove®, verify your step model before ordering. Also measure your step width: This narrow version (STP54-076) has a 19.5" tread. If your steps are 23.5" wide (wide models), see the STP54-075 Add-A-Step Tread Wide instead.
MORryde requires you to measure your step tread width before ordering. The Add-A-Step Tread is available in two widths, and selecting the wrong one will result in a poor fit: STP54-076 (This Product) — Narrow: 19.5" x 7" tread — for narrow Gen 2 StepAbove® systems or tighter entry configurations STP54-075 — Wide: 23.5" x 7" tread — for standard wide Gen 2 StepAbove® systems Measure the width of your existing step treads. If they are 19.5" wide, the STP54-076 is correct. If they are 23.5" wide, order the STP54-075 instead.
Setup Steps: 1. Verify Compatibility: Confirm you have Gen 2 StepAbove® narrow steps (19.5" tread width) and that the system is not a Flip Tread or LCI step 2. Measure Your Rise: Determine whether your first-step rise is 8" or 9" to select the correct leg height setting 3. Set Leg Height: Adjust the Add-A-Step Tread legs to the 8" or 9" rise position 4. Attach to StepAbove® Step: Connect the Add-A-Step Tread to the bottom Gen 2 StepAbove® step using the quick-attach mechanism — no tools or drilling required 5.
