The MaxxAir 00-03812B MaxxFan Dome is the black, no-LED version of MaxxAir's compact dome vent family — the right choice when you want a dark-colored vent that blends into a black or dark roof and you don't need integrated lighting. It delivers the same 200 CFM exhaust fan performance, manual lift dome, rain shield, and rooftop or sidewall installation capability as the rest of the family, at its most straightforward configuration.
At just 8" in outer diameter with a 6-1/4" cutout, it fits in RV bathroom, shower, and kitchen ceiling locations where a full-size 14"x14" vent won't go. The active fan removes moisture, heat, and odors, the rain shield keeps it usable in wet weather, and the fan still circulates air when the dome is closed — all in a compact black unit that disappears visually against a dark roof.

The official MaxxAir / AIRXCEL warranty for this product is 2 years from the original date of purchase — covering defects in materials and workmanship. If installed as original equipment on a vehicle, the warranty period begins on the date of original vehicle purchase. Warranty does not cover misuse, improper installation, accidental damage, or connection to 115V AC. Cutout Required: 6-1/4" diameter hole in roof or wall. Roof/Wall Thickness: Minimum 1" — Maximum 6". The included extension sleeve is used for thicknesses over 1". Vent Profile: 2-15/16" above roof surface when closed; 3-7/8" when open. Sealant: A self-leveling lap sealant (such as Sikaflex 715 or equivalent) is recommended for rooftop installations to ensure a watertight seal around the base. Sealant is not included. Wiring: 2-wire 12V DC connection. Do not connect to 115V AC — will void warranty and damage unit.
