The MaxxAir 00-03812W MaxxFan Dome is the no-LED version of MaxxAir's popular compact dome vent family — offering the same 6" exhaust fan, manual lift dome, rain shield, and rooftop or sidewall installation capability as the LED-equipped 00-03810W, but without the integrated lighting. It's the right choice when the space already has adequate lighting and you simply need reliable exhaust ventilation at a lower cost.
At just 8" in outer diameter with a 6-1/4" cutout, it fits in RV bathroom, shower, and small kitchen ceiling locations where no standard 14"x14" vent can go. The 200 CFM fan actively removes moisture, heat, and odors, while the integrated rain shield means you can leave the dome open and the fan running even during rain. When the lid is closed, the fan still circulates interior air like a ceiling fan.

The official MaxxAir / AIRXCEL warranty for this product is 2 years from the original date of purchase — covering defects in materials and workmanship. If installed as original equipment on a vehicle, the warranty period begins on the date of original vehicle purchase. Warranty does not cover misuse, improper installation, accidental damage, or connection to 115V AC. Cutout Required: 6-1/4" diameter hole in roof or wall. Roof/Wall Thickness: Minimum 1" — Maximum 6". The included extension sleeve is used for thicknesses over 1". Handle Clearance: The handle protrudes approximately 3.08" below the ceiling when the lid is closed and 2.14" when open. Sealant: A self-leveling lap sealant (such as Sikaflex 715 or equivalent) is recommended for rooftop installations to ensure a watertight seal around the base. Sealant is not included. Wiring: 2-wire 12V DC connection. Do not connect to 115V AC — will void warranty and damage unit.
