The MaxxAir 00-933052 Maxx I+ Roof Vent Cover is the updated version of MaxxAir's original vent cover — the accessory that lets you keep your RV roof vent open and your fan running regardless of rain, wind, or travel speed. Simply mount it over your existing 14"×14" roof vent and you gain the ability to ventilate your RV at any time without worrying about water intrusion.
The updated aerodynamic front leading edge reduces wind resistance and vibration compared to the original design, making it quieter at highway speeds. The Zero-Leak mounting system attaches to the vertical flange of your existing vent — no drilling into the roof membrane required. A built-in bug screen keeps insects out while allowing constant airflow, and the louvered design sheds rain naturally while still allowing substantial air movement.

The Maxx I+ is designed for use with static manual open/close roof vents and low-powered 4" fan blade vents only. It is not recommended for use with high-powered ventilation fans (such as the MaxxFan Plus or similar high-CFM powered fans). For high-powered fans, MaxxAir offers the Maxxair II vent cover, which is designed to accommodate higher airflow requirements. Vent Opening Note: The vent lid may not open fully with this cover installed. However, once the vent is open 50% or more, it will still achieve maximum airflow through the cover's louvered opening.

Mounting: The Zero-Leak system attaches to the vertical flange of your existing 14"×14" roof vent — no drilling into the roof membrane required. Some vent frame configurations may require drilling into the vent frame itself (not the roof surface). Vent Lid Clearance: The vent lid may not open 100% with the cover installed, but once opened 50% or more, maximum airflow is achieved. No sealant required — the Zero-Leak bracket system is designed to avoid the need for roof sealant.
