The MaxxAir TuffMaxx 00-325001 is a heavy-duty replacement shroud (cover) for Coleman-Mach rooftop RV air conditioners. It's designed to replace the original factory shroud on Mach 1, Mach 3, and Mach 15 models across all standard BTU ratings – 11,000, 13,500, and 15,000 BTU.Coleman-MachMade in USA
If your original Coleman shroud is cracked, faded, sun-damaged, or broken from a tree branch hit, the TuffMaxx is the premium aftermarket upgrade. MaxxAir constructed it from extra-thick, high-density polyethylene with maximum UV inhibitors – it's significantly tougher than the original factory cover. The aerodynamic front bumper design deflects tree branches and prevents wind lift while driving, and the built-in rear intake grill protects the A/C condenser coils from road debris and damage. It mounts exactly like the original using the same bolt pattern, and all stainless steel mounting hardware is included.
MaxxAir thermal-tests every TuffMaxx shroud to ensure proper airflow and A/C performance. The ventilated design allows adequate airflow across the condenser while still protecting the unit from rain, UV exposure, and physical damage. It's backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser – a testament to how confident MaxxAir is in its durability.
This shroud fits Coleman-Mach 1, Mach 3, and Mach 15 standard-height RV air conditioners. It does not fit Mach 3 Plus, Mach 8, or Dometic/Duo-Therm units. If you're not sure which A/C you have, check the model number on the data plate located on the rooftop unit. Common compatible model number prefixes include 6700, 7300, 7330, 7333, 8300, 8330, 8333, and 48200 series. We recommend measuring your existing shroud and comparing to the dimensions listed below to be 100% sure.
*Some Mach 3 Plus units may share the same footprint as standard Mach 3 – measure and compare dimensions to confirm. When in doubt, call us at 866-332-7881 with your A/C model number and we'll verify fitment.
The TuffMaxx mounts exactly like your original Coleman shroud – no drilling, no modifications. Remove the existing hardware from the top of your A/C unit, lift off the old shroud, set the TuffMaxx in place, and secure with the included stainless steel hardware. The foam tape and foam pieces help seal and cushion the fit. Most RVers complete the job in under 30 minutes with basic hand tools. Work from a stable ladder or with your RV parked near a platform for safe roof access.
If you're replacing your shroud, it may be a good time to inspect other A/C components.
