This kit is engineered specifically for the 3.6KYFA-26120 — the LP vapor (propane) version of the MicroQuiet QG 3600. It is not compatible with gasoline KY generators. Key differences to check: • Spark plug gap: This kit's plug (167-0275) is gapped at 0.020" for LP operation. The same plug used in a gasoline KY generator requires a 0.025" gap — an incorrect gap can cause hard starting or misfires. • No fuel filter: LP vapor generators do not use a fuel filter, so none is included. Gasoline KY maintenance kits include a fuel filter; this one does not. Confirm your generator's model number and fuel type before ordering. The model number is located on the generator nameplate.
Cummins Onan recommends replacing each component at the following intervals for the QG 3600 LP generator: • Oil (326-5336): Every 100 hours • Air Filter (140-3280): Every 150 hours (some KY specs: 250 hours — consult your operator's manual) • Spark Plug (167-0275): Every 150 hours Always refer to the operator's manual for your specific generator spec to confirm the correct intervals.
