The PermaPRO material is engineered to be polypropylene-based, solution-dyed, and treated for UV resistance. It blocks harmful UV rays that bleach decals, oxidize gel coat, and degrade rubber seals over time. The fabric is not a waterproof barrier in the way a tarp is -- it is water-resistant and breathable by design. This tradeoff is intentional: a fully waterproof cover traps condensation, which causes more long-term damage than light moisture that can dry out.
