The Peterson V154A is a PC-rated incandescent clearance and side marker light from Peterson's widely used 154 series. It functions as either a clearance light or a side marker depending on mounting position — when mounted at a 45-degree angle, it serves as a combination clearance and side marker in a single unit. The amber lens is welded to the housing to form one sealed, weatherproof assembly, and dual long-life bulbs are rated to 15,000 hours.
The V154A is a common replacement light on RVs, travel trailers, utility trailers, cargo trailers, trucks, and boats. It uses male pins and requires a 154-series mounting bracket and electrical connector, both sold separately.
The V154A light body does not include a mounting bracket or electrical connector. A 154-series mounting bracket is required for installation. Peterson offers several bracket options: • Gray bracket with lead wire — included in 154 kit versions • Black bracket with lead wire — included in 2637 kit version If you are replacing an existing V154A, the original bracket can typically be reused.
