Camco Part 59125 / 06-0464 Excess Flow Protection Camco 59125 Brass 4-Port Propane Tee with 5 ft Supply Hose

Expand your RV propane system without replacing existing plumbing. This solid brass tee installs inline between your motorhome's propane supply and regulator, opening up four connection points -- including one for an auxiliary cylinder and one for a high-pressure appliance feed. The included 5 ft hose with excess flow protection makes the job straightforward and code-conscious.

Add an Auxiliary Propane Source or Appliance -- Without Replumbing

Motorhome propane systems typically provide a single regulated supply path. The Camco 59125 brass tee gives you four distinct ports in one compact fitting, letting you tap in an auxiliary 1 lb or larger throwaway cylinder, route a high-pressure feed to an additional appliance, or connect an extension hose -- all from the same inline location.

The tee is built from solid brass for corrosion resistance and long service life in outdoor and under-chassis environments. All four ports carry industry-standard thread patterns so they work with common RV propane accessories without adapters in most cases.

4 Distinct Ports

Female POL inlet, excess flow soft nose POL outlet, 1in-20 throwaway cylinder thread, and 1/4in inverted flare -- all on one tee body.

Excess Flow Protection

The soft nose POL connection includes an excess flow check that automatically restricts flow if a downstream line ruptures or separates.

5 ft Supply Hose Included

Ready-to-use hose ships in the box with excess flow soft nose POL on one end and 1/4in inverted male flare on the other. No additional hose required for basic hookup.

Solid Brass Construction

All-brass body resists corrosion and handles the temperature cycling typical of underbody RV propane installations.

Port Configuration -- What Each Connection Does

Understanding the four ports helps you plan your hookup before you start wrenching:

  • Female POL (inlet): Connects to your existing motorhome propane supply line -- the same thread pattern used on standard LP tank service valves.
  • Excess Flow Soft Nose POL (outlet): Routes propane onward to your existing regulator. The excess flow valve shuts down flow automatically if a connected hose or line fails downstream.
  • 1in-20 Male Throwaway Cylinder Thread: Accepts standard 1 lb camping-style or small auxiliary propane cylinders directly -- useful for extending supply during boondocking or running a portable appliance.
  • 1/4in Inverted Flare: Provides a high-pressure tap for connecting an additional appliance (gas grill, buddy heater, generator, etc.) via a compatible extension hose.
What Is Included in the Box
  • 1x Camco 59125 solid brass 4-port propane tee fitting
  • 1x 5 ft propane supply hose -- excess flow soft nose POL x 1/4in inverted male flare

Connecting an Additional High-Pressure Appliance

The 1/4in inverted flare port on the tee body provides a high-pressure propane tap upstream of the regulator. To connect a portable grill, outdoor cooker, or similar appliance at that port, you will need a compatible high-pressure propane extension hose with the matching fittings. The Camco 59043 or Camco 59045 extension hoses are designed for this application and are sold separately.

Compatibility Note: This tee is designed for liquid propane (LP) systems operating at typical motorhome supply pressures. It is intended for use upstream of the main regulator where supply-side pressure is present. Always confirm your existing line fittings match POL specification before purchasing.

Typical Installation Overview

Installation is inline -- the tee inserts into the existing supply line between the propane tank valve and the motorhome's primary regulator. No special tools beyond an adjustable wrench and leak-detection solution are needed for most installs. Standard procedure:

  • Shut off the main propane supply valve before beginning.
  • Disconnect the existing hose from the tank POL valve.
  • Thread the female POL end of the tee onto the tank valve hand-tight, then snug with a wrench -- do not overtighten brass POL fittings.
  • Reconnect your original regulator hose to the excess flow soft nose POL port.
  • Connect the included 5 ft hose or your auxiliary cylinder/appliance to the remaining ports as needed.
  • Apply leak-detection solution to all connections and check with the supply valve open before lighting any appliances.
Maintenance Tips
  • Inspect all connections for leaks at the start of each camping season and after any rough road travel.
  • Keep POL threads clean and free of debris -- use protective caps on unused ports when not in service.
  • Replace the hose if the outer jacket shows cracking, abrasion, or heat damage -- do not attempt to repair propane hoses.
  • Store the unit in a dry location; prolonged moisture exposure can cause brass fittings to develop surface oxidation that may affect sealing over time.

Important Information -- Read Before Installing
  • This fitting handles LP propane at supply-side (unregulated) pressures. Incorrect installation or use of mismatched fittings can result in gas leaks, fire, or explosion. Installation must be performed by a qualified individual familiar with RV propane systems.
  • Always shut off the main propane supply valve completely before connecting or disconnecting any fitting.
  • After installation, test every connection with an approved leak-detection solution -- never use an open flame to check for leaks.
  • The 1/4in inverted flare port and 1in-20 cylinder port are high-pressure taps. Do not use low-pressure or appliance-side hoses on these connections.
  • Extension hoses for the high-pressure tap are sold separately (Camco 59043 or 59045) -- they are not included with this kit.
  • Limited 90-day warranty. Inspect for damage before installation; do not install cracked or deformed brass fittings.
  • Not for use with natural gas systems. LP propane service only.
