Keep dirt, water, insects, and debris out of your RV's hollow square bumper tubes with these direct-fit replacement end caps from Camco. Sold in a convenient 2-pack, these caps are the no-fuss fix for missing, cracked, or lost bumper covers.
Most travel trailers and fifth wheels use hollow square steel bumper tubes -- typically at the rear of the coach -- as storage for sewer hoses and other accessories. When end caps go missing or crack from UV exposure and road vibration, those open tubes become traps for road grime, standing water, mud dauber nests, and insects. Camco's part 40303 caps drop right in to seal things back up.
The black polyethylene construction holds up to sun, road salt, and temperature swings better than generic caps. Ribbed outer edges grip the inside of the bumper tube wall so the caps stay put on rough roads, while the small vent hole prevents pressure buildup that can pop caps loose and also lets trapped moisture escape.
Raised ribs on the outer perimeter compress against the tube wall for a secure, rattle-free fit without adhesive.
Small built-in vent equalizes air pressure inside the tube, preventing vacuum-seal suction that makes caps hard to pull and pressure spikes that pop them loose.
Black polyethylene resists cracking and fading from prolonged sun exposure -- common failure point for cheaper generic caps.
Most bumpers have two open ends. This pack covers both sides in one order, or gives you a spare when only one cap is lost.
The vent hole doubles as a finger-pull point. Insert a finger or a small hook tool into the vent to break the seal and pull the cap free without tools or prying that could scratch the bumper.
These caps are sized for standard 4 x 4 inch nominal square hollow bumper tubes found on most travel trailers and fifth wheels. Before ordering, measure the outside opening of your bumper tube -- nominal 4-inch tube openings typically measure close to 4 inches square on the inside. If your bumper opening is a different size (common sizes are also 3 x 3 inch or 3.5 x 3.5 inch), Camco makes caps for those dimensions separately.
