Not every tow vehicle and trailer combination lines up without the correct shank. The 14-3022 provides up to 10 inches of rise and up to 6 inches of drop -- both measured from the top of the hitch receiver opening -- giving you the adjustability to achieve a level trailer connection across a wide range of vehicle and trailer heights. Six mounting holes spaced in 1-1/4-inch increments let you fine-tune the ball height precisely.

Total adjustability is measured from the inside top of the receiver opening to the base of the hitch ball. Measure your vehicle's hitch receiver height off the ground and your trailer coupler height to determine how much rise or drop you need before selecting a shank length.
