A full-size outdoor rug built specifically for RV campsites. The Dura-Mat lays flat right out of the bag, lets water and dirt filter through the woven vinyl surface, and rolls or folds back down into its included storage bag when it is time to move on. At 20 feet long and 8 feet wide, it covers the full length of a typical slideout patio setup.
The Dura-Mat is constructed from colored vinyl strands and reinforcement fibers that are loomed together into a woven fabric, then compacted and bonded for long-term strength. The result is a mat that resists fraying, holds its shape under foot traffic, and cleans up fast after a muddy weekend.
Brass grommets around the perimeter let you stake the mat directly into the ground -- a practical detail that keeps the edges from curling in wind or lifting when people walk across it. Every edge is hemmed for a finished look and to prevent unraveling over repeated deployments.
Open woven construction allows rain and loose dirt to filter straight through to the ground, so the mat stays usable even after a wet morning.
Reinforced brass grommets around the perimeter accept standard ground stakes to hold the mat flat and in place on uneven or soft ground.
Folds or rolls down to a compact bundle that fits in the included storage bag -- sized to stow in a basement compartment or cargo area.
Shake, hose, or sweep the mat clean. The bonded vinyl surface does not absorb water or hold grime the way fabric rugs do.
The Dura-Mat uses woven bonded vinyl -- a process that bonds the interlocked vinyl strands so the weave cannot shift or separate with use. This differs from loosely woven polypropylene mats that tend to fray at cut edges or distort after repeated folding. All four sides are hemmed to lock the edge weave in place.
The brown colorway uses pigment worked into the vinyl strands themselves rather than a surface coating, so the color does not fade or rub off onto deck surfaces.
Unfold the mat on a cleared campsite surface and pull the corners square before driving stakes through the brass grommets. On hard-packed sites where stakes will not set, the mat still lays flat on its own; grommets are useful but not required on solid ground.
Ground stakes are not included. Standard 6-inch or 8-inch tent stakes work with the brass grommets.
