The N1830D is an inner garnish — it installs on the interior ceiling of your RV, not on the roof. It is designed to finish the inside of the ceiling opening below an existing outer dome skylight, or to replace a yellowed, cracked, or discolored interior skylight dome. If you need a replacement for the exterior roof-mounted dome, you need an outer skylight (such as the Specialty Recreation SL-series). This product is for the interior ceiling piece only.

The white ABS frame blends cleanly with most RV ceiling panels, while the clear polycarbonate bubble maximizes light transmission — allowing the full output of the exterior skylight or roof opening to reach the interior. Unlike outer dome skylights (which can be equal to or larger than the opening), inner garnishes must match the ceiling hole size exactly. This skylight fits a 18"×30" ceiling opening only. Measure your ceiling opening before ordering. An inner garnish that is too small will fall through the opening; one that is too large will not sit flush with the ceiling surface.
The Specialty Recreation Inc. product warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for 1 year from the date of purchase, when the product is used for its intended purpose under normal conditions. Warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper installation. Note: Some product listings reference a 90-day warranty term; Specialty Recreation's published warranty policy is 1 year.
