Suburban 350110 Furnace Combustion Air Wheel – NT/P Series
OEM replacement combustion air wheel for Suburban NT-24, NT-30, NT-34, NT-40, and P30S series RV furnaces. Includes mounting clamp. Supplies combustion air to the sealed burner chamber for safe, efficient furnace operation.

Overview

The Suburban 350110 is the OEM replacement combustion air wheel (also called a combustion impeller) for Suburban NT and P-series RV forced-air furnaces. This wheel mounts on the motor's short shaft inside the sealed combustion air box and is responsible for drawing fresh outside air into the combustion chamber and exhausting combustion gases to the exterior.OEM Suburban

Suburban NT-series furnaces are classified as Direct Vent Sealed Combustion units. The combustion air is completely isolated from your RV's living space. The motor drives two impeller wheels simultaneously – the combustion air wheel (this part) handles the intake and exhaust side, while a separate room air blower wheel circulates heated air through the duct system. Both wheels are critical to proper furnace operation, but they serve completely different functions and are not interchangeable.

Key Features

  • OEM Suburban replacement – genuine part number 350110
  • Includes mounting clamp – secures wheel to motor shaft
  • Fits NT-24, NT-30, NT-34, NT-40, and P30S furnace models
  • Sealed combustion design – isolates combustion air from living space
  • Durable construction – engineered for continuous furnace operation
  • Direct replacement – no modifications needed
  • Limited 90-Day Manufacturer Warranty

Compatible Furnace Models

This combustion wheel fits the following Suburban furnace models:

Model BTU Rating Type
NT-24BW 24,000 BTU Bottom/Wall Discharge
NT-24SP 24,000 BTU Side/Bottom Ducted
NT-30BW 30,000 BTU Bottom/Wall Discharge
NT-30SP 30,000 BTU Side/Bottom Ducted
NT-34BW 34,000 BTU Bottom/Wall Discharge
NT-34SP 34,000 BTU Side/Bottom Ducted
NT-40 40,000 BTU Side/Bottom Ducted
P30S 30,000 BTU Park Model (120V AC)

⚠️ Important: Choose the Correct Combustion Wheel

Suburban uses different combustion wheels for different NT furnace sizes. This wheel (350110) fits the larger NT-24 through NT-40 and P30S models listed above.

If you have a smaller NT-series furnace (NT-12S, NT-16S, or NT-20S), you need Suburban 350082 instead. Using the wrong combustion wheel will result in incorrect airflow and unsafe furnace operation.

Check your furnace model number on the data plate attached to your furnace before ordering.

Signs Your Combustion Wheel Needs Replacement

  • Furnace ignites but shuts off – insufficient combustion air causes flame sensor lockout
  • Weak or erratic flame – not enough air reaching the burner
  • Unusual noise from combustion side – cracked or damaged wheel rubbing
  • Soot buildup in combustion chamber – incomplete combustion from poor airflow
  • Furnace locks out repeatedly – flame sensor cannot maintain microamp readings
  • Visible damage – cracked, chipped, or warped blades on the wheel
  • Excessive dust/lint buildup – restricts airflow and causes motor drag

🔧 Installation Tips

1. Disconnect power – turn off furnace and disconnect 12V supply (or 120V for P30S)
2. Turn off gas supply – close the manual gas shut-off valve
3. Access the combustion side – remove the combustion air box cover or access the motor area
4. Remove the old wheel – loosen the clamp screw and carefully slide the wheel off the motor shaft
5. Inspect the motor shaft – check for wear, corrosion, or damage before installing the new wheel
6. Install new wheel – slide onto the motor shaft and secure with the included clamp
7. Verify clearance – ensure the wheel spins freely without rubbing the housing
8. Reassemble and test – restore power and gas, run furnace through a full heating cycle
9. Check combustion – verify proper flame appearance and that the furnace does not lock out

How the Combustion Wheel Works

Suburban NT-series furnaces are Direct Vent Sealed Combustion units. The combustion air system is completely isolated from the room air system, even though both are driven by the same motor. The combustion wheel serves two critical functions:

  • Intake – draws fresh outside air through the vent assembly into the sealed combustion chamber to support the propane burner flame
  • Exhaust – forces combustion gases (exhaust) through the heat exchanger and out through the vent to the outside atmosphere

The combustion wheel must supply the correct volume of air matched to the furnace's BTU rating. A damaged, dirty, or incorrect wheel will cause incomplete combustion, low flame sensor readings (below the required 7 microamps), and repeated furnace lockout. Regular inspection of the combustion wheel during annual furnace maintenance is recommended.

✓ Maintenance Tip

Suburban recommends inspecting the combustion wheel for lint, dust, and debris accumulation as part of regular furnace maintenance. A buildup on the wheel blades reduces airflow and can prevent the burner from operating correctly. Clean gently with a soft brush if needed, or replace if cracked or damaged.
