If your RV or trailer has rubber valve stems, you have two options: • Upgrade to metal valve stems – typically $3-5 per stem at a tire shop • Choose cap-style sensors instead – lighter weight, works with rubber stems Check your valve stems before ordering. Most aluminum wheels come with metal stems; steel wheels often have rubber.
The included 507 Series Repeater amplifies sensor signals through interference and extends overall range. This is essential for longer RVs, fifth wheels, and travel trailers where the distance between rear tires and the cab can exceed the standard 34-foot sensor range.
