Replacement slide-gate waste valve body for RV gray-water tanks. 1-1/2" passage, plastic handle, 2-1/2" square bolt pattern, 5/8" body thickness. Seals, nuts, and bolts included.
The Valterra T1001VP is the 1-1/2" replacement waste valve body in Valterra's Bladex line — the slide-gate valve used on RV gray-water tanks that controls when the tank empties. When a waste valve starts leaking, sticking, or failing to seal, the valve body is typically the culprit, and replacing it restores proper function without having to replace the full drain assembly.
The T1001VP is specifically the plastic-handle version. It fits the standard 2-1/2" square bolt pattern used across Bladex, Valterra, Bristol, and Anonda valve assemblies, and at 5/8" thick the body slots directly into the existing mounting location. A complete hardware set — seals, nuts, and bolts — is included so the swap can be done without sourcing separate parts. For a die-cast aluminum handle instead of plastic, see the T1001VPM.
Valve body replacement — no fittings required: 1. Empty and flush the gray-water tank before beginning 2. Remove the bolts holding the old valve body between the pipe flanges 3. Pull out the old valve body and seals 4. Install new seals from the included hardware set onto the new valve body 5. Slide the new T1001VP into position between the flanges — confirm alignment with the 2-1/2" bolt pattern 6. Install and tighten the included nuts and bolts Note: Inspect the pipe flanges for cracks or damage before installing the new valve. A damaged flange will cause leaks even with a new valve body.
• 1x Valterra T1001VP Bladex valve body • Seals, nuts, bolts T1001 Series variants: • T1001VP — Plastic handle (this item) • T1001VPM — Die-cast aluminum handle • T1001C — Valve body with cap (no handle) • T1001-9VP — Replacement seals only 3" gray or black tank valve: • T1003VP — 3" Bladex valve body (plastic handle)
The T1001VP is the valve body only — it does not include the inlet or outlet pipe fittings. If your existing fittings are also damaged, they will need to be sourced separately. Before ordering, confirm your existing assembly uses the 2-1/2" square bolt pattern. Assemblies with a different bolt spacing will not accept this valve body as a direct replacement.
