When your awning fabric tears, fades, or cracks, you don't need to replace the entire awning assembly. The Lippert V000334439 is a direct replacement vinyl fabric designed for 20-foot Solera, Dometic, and Carefree patio awnings. Made-to-spec at 13.5-oz weight with heat-welded seams and cold-crack resistance to -25F, this fabric restores full function and weather protection to your RV's outdoor living space.
This Solera replacement fabric is constructed from 13.5-ounce vinyl -- heavier than many budget options -- giving it the stiffness and durability needed to handle wind load, UV exposure, and seasonal temperature swings without sagging or cracking. The solid black colorway runs through both the topside and underside of the fabric, so there is no visible interior liner color difference.
At 19'1" wide with an 8-foot projection, this fabric is sized for a 20-foot awning assembly. As with all Solera replacement fabrics, the fabric width is approximately 11 inches shorter than your awning assembly's total width -- this is normal and accounts for the roller tube end caps and hardware on each side.
Seams are heat-bonded, not sewn, creating a leak-resistant joint that won't wick water or fray at stress points over time.
Vinyl compound is tested to -25F to resist cracking and stiffening in cold-weather storage or early-season deployments.
Includes a pre-installed poly cord channel along the valance for an optional LED light track -- lights and track sold separately.
Designed to fit Solera, Dometic, and Carefree 20-foot awning assemblies, making it one of the most versatile replacement options available.
This fabric is built for a 20-foot awning assembly. The fabric itself measures 19'1" wide (approximately 11 inches shorter than the roller tube assembly width) with an 8-foot projection from the roller to the valance edge. This sizing is correct and intentional -- the end caps and mounting hardware account for the remaining width.
Fabric is compatible with the following awning systems (20-foot assemblies):
Replacing awning fabric on a Solera, Dometic, or Carefree roller system is a two-person job. The roller tube must be removed from the awning arms, the old fabric unwound and detached from the lead bar and roller, and the new fabric attached and re-wound under spring tension. A fabric replacement kit or awning tension tool can make this easier.
This fabric is backed by a limited 5-year manufacturer warranty from Lippert Components against defects in materials and workmanship. UV fade and physical damage from wind events or improper storage are typically excluded -- always retract your awning in high winds and during transport.
