JR Products 07-31545 -- 15 in. OEM Propane Pigtail Hose
A direct OEM replacement pigtail hose for RV propane systems. QCC1 Type 1 inlet threads onto standard LP cylinder valves; 1/4-inch male pipe thread outlet connects directly to your rig's propane regulator or distribution manifold. Thermoplastic construction rated for LP service.
Propane pigtail hoses are the flexible link between your LP cylinders and the regulator that feeds every propane appliance in your RV -- furnace, water heater, range, and refrigerator. Over time, thermoplastic hoses crack, fittings corrode, and rubber seals harden. When that happens, the right fix is a like-for-like OEM replacement, not a generic hose that may not seat correctly on your Type 1 valve.
The JR Products 07-31545 is engineered as a direct OEM drop-in. At 15 inches, it gives you enough slack to connect a standard 20-lb or 30-lb DOT cylinder to a typical dual-stage or single-stage regulator without kinking or putting stress on the fittings. The QCC1 (Type 1) hand-tight connector threads onto the cylinder valve without tools; the 1/4-inch male pipe thread (MPT) end screws directly into the regulator inlet or a tee fitting on your distribution manifold.
Hand-tight quick-connect fitting threads onto any standard DOT LP cylinder with a Type 1 (CGA-810) valve -- the same valve found on 20-lb and 30-lb portable tanks used across North America.
1/4-inch male pipe thread outlet connects directly to regulators, tee fittings, or manifold inlets that accept standard 1/4-inch NPT female threads -- no adapter required in most OEM applications.
Flexible thermoplastic construction resists kinking and cracking across a wide temperature range. Designed for LP (propane) service; not for use with natural gas or other fuel gases.
15 inches of usable hose provides the right amount of slack for standard horizontal tank brackets or upright cylinder holders, keeping the hose clear of heat sources and chassis components.
This pigtail hose is commonly found in the following RV propane system configurations:
JR Products supplies propane hardware to RV manufacturers as OEM components. This hose is built to the same specification as what was installed at the factory, making it a genuine drop-in replacement rather than an aftermarket workaround. If your original pigtail shows cracking, stiffness, or a failed QCC1 seat, this is the correct replacement part.
QCC1 (also called Type 1 or CGA-810) connectors thread on clockwise and hand-tighten without a wrench. POL connectors (older style) use a left-hand thread and require a wrench. This hose -- part 07-31545 -- is QCC1 only. Check your cylinder valve before ordering: if your existing pigtail screws on by hand (clockwise), you have a Type 1 valve and this hose is correct. If your pigtail requires a wrench and tightens counter-clockwise, you have POL and need a different hose.
