JR Products UL/CSA Listed OEM Replacement

JR Products 07-31695 -- 60" OEM LP Supply Hose

A direct OEM-spec replacement for RV propane supply lines. The 07-31695 delivers a full 60 inches of flexible thermoplastic hose with a 1/2" female flare swivel on one end and a 3/8" male thread on the other -- designed to connect regulators, manifolds, and fixed LP system components without twisting or binding during installation.

The Right Hose for RV LP System Repairs and Replacements

When an LP supply hose shows cracking, stiffness, or fitting corrosion, it is not a part to defer. The JR Products 07-31695 is built to OEM specifications and serves as a drop-in replacement in the most common RV propane plumbing configurations. Its 60" length suits connections between a two-stage regulator and a distribution manifold, or between a coach LP bulkhead fitting and a fixed appliance supply line.

The 1/2" female flare swivel end allows the fitting to rotate freely as you thread and tighten without torquing stress into the hose body -- a practical advantage when working in tight propane compartments. The 3/8" male thread end is the standard thread used on most RV LP manifolds, regulator outlets, and inline shutoff connections.

60" Working Length

Five full feet of hose -- enough reach for most regulator-to-manifold and bulkhead-to-appliance runs in standard RV LP compartment layouts.

Swivel Flare End

1/2" female flare swivel rotates independently of the hose body, allowing wrench-tightening without twisting or kinking the line.

UL and CSA Listed

Meets Underwriters Laboratories and Canadian Standards Association requirements for LP gas hose assemblies used in recreational vehicle applications.

Thermoplastic Construction

Flexible thermoplastic hose body resists LP gas permeation and remains pliable across a wide temperature range -- important for rigs stored in cold climates.

Fitting Connections Explained

Getting the fittings right before ordering saves a return trip. Here is how the two ends of the 07-31695 are used in typical installations:

  • 1/2" Female Flare Swivel (inlet end): Connects to a 1/2" male flare outlet -- found on most two-stage RV LP regulators and some inline shutoffs. The swivel collar allows the nut to turn freely so you can tighten the connection without rotating the hose.
  • 3/8" Male Thread (outlet end): Threads into a 3/8" female NPT or FNPT port -- standard on LP distribution manifolds, coach bulkhead fittings, and many inline LP valves.
  • If your system uses a different thread size on either end, JR Products and Camco offer brass LP adapters sold separately.

OEM Confidence

JR Products is an original equipment supplier to many North American RV manufacturers. The 07-31695 meets the same specifications as hoses installed at the factory, so it fits without modification in systems originally built with JR Products LP components.

Common Installation Locations

  • Two-stage regulator outlet to LP distribution manifold
  • Manifold to coach LP bulkhead pass-through
  • Inline LP shutoff valve to fixed appliance supply
  • Replacement for original factory hose in propane compartment

Thread and Flare Size Verification

Before installation, confirm your regulator outlet is a 1/2" male flare (not POL, not 9/16", not 1/4" NPT) and your manifold or downstream port is a 3/8" female thread. LP fittings are not interchangeable -- incorrect fitting engagement is a leak hazard. Use an approved LP thread sealant (not standard pipe tape) on the male thread end only; never apply sealant to flare connections.

Maintenance and Service Tips

  • Inspect LP supply hoses annually for cracking, kinking, abrasion, or discoloration near fittings.
  • Test all connections with a soap-and-water solution or an electronic LP detector after any hose replacement -- never use an open flame.
  • Do not allow the hose to contact sharp edges, exhaust components, or areas where it will be pinched by doors or access panels.
  • Replace any hose that shows signs of flattening, stiffness, or fitting corrosion regardless of age.

Important Information -- LP Gas Safety

  • LP gas work must comply with NFPA 58 (Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code) and all applicable local codes. In some jurisdictions, LP system repairs must be performed or inspected by a licensed technician.
  • Never use this hose on natural gas systems. This hose is rated for LP (propane/butane) service only.
  • Do not apply pipe thread sealant or tape to flare fittings. Apply LP-approved thread sealant to male NPT threads only.
  • Pressure-test the system and check all connections with a soap solution or certified LP leak detector after installation. Do not use an open flame to test for leaks.
  • Replace this hose if it shows any cracking, abrasion, kinking, or fitting damage. Do not attempt to repair a damaged LP hose.
  • Route hose away from heat sources, sharp edges, and pinch points. Secure with appropriate clamps or hangers to prevent chafing.
  • This hose assembly is for LP supply line use only -- it is not rated for high-pressure cylinder pigtail service unless your regulator configuration is confirmed compatible.
